Well, I've had a rough start to this new year. This picture pretty much sums up everything, but I don't look as cute as this little girl...
It all started after midnight on New Year's Eve (aka New Year's Day). I slept over at my friend Emily's apartment and we had a great time until we went to bed and my sore throat did not go away. Ugh, I have been miserable up until yesterday. I was running a minor fever, only 99 degrees, maybe 100. I knew I was running a fever because, besides being hot and then cold and then hot, I was having hallucinating dreams. It's what I do when I get a fever...my dreams get way more bizarre and annoying. These dreams just get really trippy and make me feel delusional. They also repeat themselves to no end every few minutes. Ugh.
I am feeling better now, four days later, I ate my share of toast and drank plenty of fluids. I am now left with a super stuffed up nose and a headache.
There was more I wanted to talk about, but will post it some other time this week. It's not a huge thing, just something that has been on my mind.
